What I thought while walking in the rain

I love walking in the rain…i think differently…you should try it if you haven’t and tell me what it was like for you. On today’s walk, I thought this:

Perhaps one of the most amazing gifts the stars bring us is that they are unreachable and that frees us up to gaze in wonder without striving. Sure, maybe one day we will devise a ship that can get us there, but I am sort of happy we can’t do that yet because maybe we need some things to be outside of our grasp in order to dream and let ourselves be guided.
